Benedetti Life in collaboration with Red Carpet Green Dress™, Vegan Fashion Week and Tencel ™ Luxe
In an exciting new step to expand awareness in the global fashion industry, Red Carpet Green Dress ™ has partnered with Benedetti Life and a new luxury textile brand TENCEL ™ Luxe to launch a range of sustainable fashion textiles. Benedetti Life designed a dress that biodegrades in just two months! The Haute Couture dress is fully biodegradable in water, soil and compost under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions, and so TENCEL™ Luxe textiles can fully revert back to nature.
Red Carpet Green Dress ™ is a global initiative showcasing sustainable fashion on the red carpet; encouraging fashion sustainability, RCGD collaborates with designers and actors to create fashion-forward, sustainable garments for attendees of a plethora of awards shows; most notably, of course, the Academy Awards.
Past collaborations include fashion brands such as Armani, Vivienne Westwood, and Reformation, with gowns created with recycled and eco-friendly designs. Previous campaign ambassadors include Emma Roberts, Naomie Harris, Olga Kurylenko, and many more.
Suzy Cameron (the founder RCGD) and her husband James Cameron, prolific director of Titanic, Avatar and many other blockbusters, are passionate vegan advocates who have devoted their lives to the research and promotion of vegan, plant based-awareness and ocean exploration.
The Benedetti Life eco dress was on display alongside Vivienne Westwood and Louis Vuitton eco evening gowns that have graced the Oscars red carpet in past years.
The Benedetti Life Dress will be in the permanent collection “Red Carpet Green Dress ™, Academy Awards”.
