BENEDETTI Life in The Creative Spot initiative for sustainability
June 05, 2019
Following the success of the past years, from May 15 to June 16, The Creative Spot is returning to Fidenza Village for its third edition, this year focusing on creatively upcycled plastic.
Created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed gallerist and trend setter Rossana Orlandi and Vogue Talents, led by Head of Vogue Talents Sara SozzaniMaino, the initiative celebrates creativity and spotlights top international fashion talents as you are;
The Creative Spot confirms a commitment to the next generation of design talent and, this year, the project focuses on an initiative that is very close to our hearts: sustainable fashion.
Through Benedetti Life visionary use of organic, nontoxic and animal free textiles, we offered some incredibly creative solutions to one of the most pressing issues of our time.
The boutique, which will be opened from May 15 to June 16, has been designed by architect Massimiliano Locatelli, and its layout is inspired by a classic Italian Renaissance piazza: a place where people meet and ideas flourish. Furnishings designed by Locatelli include pieces crafted from recycled plastic bottles, while the multicoloured crochet artwork adorning the boutique’s ceiling – an arresting piece designed by SubmarinaEstudio – is similarly woven from recycled plastic ‘fibres’. These are complemented by a spectacular installation created by artist Arsenio Rodriguez: a ‘sea’ of plastic created from hundreds of PET bottles that have been recomposed to evoke an underwater landscape.
We hope you will enjoy it!
